I worked in the UK for a stock take company on a so called "0 hours" contract and sometimes I was working for more then 30 consecutive days without a day off, many times my shifts were longer then 16 hours without been paid extra time and with a total disregard to health and safety.

  • Many meat packing workers are also not actually paid anything because they are in a work-rehab program and the drug rehabilitation program gets the money that would be paid to the workers.
